We invite you to participate in the TITAN collaboration meeting taking place May 24 to May 26, 2010, at TRIUMF in Vancouver, BC.
The aim of this workshop is to present the current status of the TITAN experiment and its components, coordinate efforts of sub-areas, and discuss plans for future experiments. The workshop will cover TITAN's present and future scientific program consisting of, but not limited to, mass measurements, laser spectroscopy, and in-trap-decay spectroscopy. Moreover technical developments and progress is presented.
During the workshop we will cover and discuss aspects of TITAN's program:
- Laser spectroscopy on cooled and bunched ions
- Charge breeding techniques
- Cooling of highly charged ions
- Mass measurements of singly and highly charged ions
- Isobaric time-of-flight mass separation
- In-trap-decay spectroscopy.
If you would like to present the status of your project or development, please let us know in advance so we can prepare the workshop agenda. We plan to reserve ample time for discussions after each presentation.
The workshop will start Monday morning and run until Wednesday evening. On Tuesday evening, a workshop dinner is planned. Coffee breaks, refreshments and lunch will be provided and will be covered by the workshop fee. Please register and indicate if you are considering a contribution. A block of rooms has been set aside at TRIUMF House for workshop attendees (please mention TITAN workshop).
We look forward to welcoming you to the TITAN workshop 2010.
